Level Classes
Level 1 – Ages 3-11 / Class time is 45 mins
Classes include ballet & tap instructions. Students perform 2 dances in the recital.
Level 2 – Ages 7-11 / Class time is 1 hour
Classes include ballet, tap & jazz instructions. Students perform 2 dances in the recital.
Level 3 – Ages 9-12 / Class time is 1 hour & 15 mins.
Classes include ballet, tap & jazz instructions. Students perform 2 dances in the recital.
Level 4 – Ages 12-15 / Class time is 1 hour & 30 mins.
Classes include ballet, tap & jazz instructions. Students perform 3 dances in the recital. Students perform 3 dances in both recitals on 4/12 & 4/13
Level 5 – Ages 13 & up / Class time is 1 hour & 30 mins.
Classes include ballet, tap & jazz instructions. Students perform 3 dances in both recitals on 4/12 & 4/13
SPECIALTY CLASSES
Baby Ballet – Ages 2-4 / Class time is 30 minutes
Classes include ballet instructions with props and creative movement.
Students perform 1 dance in the recital.
Jr Ballet – Ages 8-12 / Class time is 45 minutes
Classes include classical ballet instructions. Students perform in a dance production in both recitals on 4/12 & 4/13
Ballet Elite – Ages 12 -16 / Class time is 1 hour
Classes include classical ballet instructions. Students perform in a dance production in both recitals on 4/12 & 4/13
Ballet Intense – Ages 13 & up / Class time is 1 hour & 15 minutes
Classes include classical ballet instructions. Students perform in a dance production in both recitals on 4/12 & 4/13
Ladies Ballet – Ages 16 & up / Class time is 1 hour
Classes include classical ballet instructions. This class does not participate in the recital.
Pointe – Ages 12 & up / Class time is 30 minutes
Selected students perform in a dance production in both recitals on 4/12 & 4/13
Hip Hop – Ages 8 & up / Class time is 30 minutes twice a month except for holidays. Classes include instructions in hip hop. Students perform in a dance production in both recitals on 4/12 & 4/13
Turns & Tricks – Ages 9-14 / Class time 30 minutes twice a month except for holidays. Classes include instructions in various leaps, turns and tricks.
Chance to Dance – Ages 12 & up / Class time is 30 minutes
A dance class for those with special needs with instructions in ballet & tap. Students perform 1 dance in our recital.
Tumbling – Ages 5-11 / Class time is 40 minutes
Classes incorporate fundamental floor skills such as cartwheels, handstands, round-offs, front & back handsprings, etc. Session ends with a tumbling expo on 3/12 or 3/13.
DDA alumni – Ages 18 & up / Class time is 1 hour & 15 minutes twice a month. Classes include ballet and tap instructions. This class consists of DDA instructors and advanced dancers. This class is open by invitation or audition only. Attendance is mandatory. Dancers perform 2 dances in both recitals.
