DANCE ATTIRE
LEVEL CLASSES
LEVEL 1 : Black or pink leotard, pink tights, tan tap shoes, pink ballet shoes
(optional – black or pink ballet skirt or tutu, black or pink leotard with attached
skirts or tutu)
LEVEL 2 – Black leotard, pink tights, tan tap shoes, pink ballet shoes, tan jazz
shoes (optional – black ballet skirt or black dance shorts)
LEVEL 3, 4, 5 – Black leotard, pink or black tights, black tap shoes, pink ballet shoes, tan jazz shoes (optional – black ballet skirt or black dance shorts). Students are allowed to wear a DDA t-shirt in level 3, 4 & 5 OVER their dance attire if they would like. Please note, this is not an option for a leotard. This is only for modesty purposes. Leotards are ALWAYS required. Note – Shoe color for jazz and tap may change depending on costume for recital.
SPECIALTY CLASSES
Baby Ballet – Pink leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes (optional – pink ballet skirt or tutu)
Ballet I & II – black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes (optional – black ballet skirt)
Ballet III & IV -black leotard, pink or black tights, pink ballet shoes (optional – solid black shirt or black ballet skirt)
Hip Hop – DDA t-shirt with athletic shorts, leggings, sweatpants, joggers, etc. Dancers that have class the same day can wear usuall class attire
Chance to Dance – Girls – black leotard with athletic shorts or DDA t-shirt with athletic shorts, pink ballet shoes, black tap shoes, (optional – tights)
Boys – t-shirt and athletic pants, black tap shoes, tennis shoes
Tumbling – Any color leotard with athletic shorts or a biketard (no shoes required) T-shirts are NOT allowed in tumbling. Dancers that have class the same day need to wear convertible tights to dance class and can wear their convertible tights with their dance leotard for tumbling
